I am a creative professional with 14 years experience in video and web production and strategy, including clients like AARP, Hasbro, Emily’s List, Amazon, Live Nation, Microsoft, the US Navy, RISD and Kraft Foods.

As an independent filmmaker, I’ve has won eight national film festivals and placed in 14. I’ve also had one of the top 50 videos on Amazon’s YouTube channel for five years, at one point surpassing a video about Reading Rainbow. (Take that, Levar Burton.)

My 2016 campaign to overthrow Rhode Island’s disastrous “Cooler & Warmer” tourism campaign racked up more than 70,000 views and over 3,000 shares. Perhaps that’s why the president of the Washington, DC chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts once said that Mel “knows just enough about everything to be dangerous.”
