About

I create horror and science fiction that works through the weird space between the fantastical future we live in and the horror of the early 21st century. I’m afraid of the woods, frogs, and using my phone. I have two spooky cats and enjoys bike riding when it’s daytime.

My 2016 campaign to overthrow Rhode Island’s disastrous “Cooler & Warmer” tourism campaign racked up more than 70,000 views and over 3,000 shares. Perhaps that’s why the president of the Washington, DC chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts once said that Mel “knows just enough about everything to be dangerous.”

This site is for my personal work. All views expressed are my own and deeply weird.
